Porter Hedges Supports the HLSA Annual Scholarship Banquet

Porter Hedges is a proud supporter of the Annual Scholarship Banquet jointly hosted by the Hispanic Law Students Association (HLSA) at South Texas College of Law, UH Law Center and Thurgood Marshall School of Law.  The banquet was held at the Hotel Zaza in Houston on March 23^rd. Houston City Councilwoman Amanda K. Edwards was the keynote speaker.

The purpose of HLSA is to promote and assist in the educational needs and professional goals of Hispanic law students. HLSA's activities include regular meetings, speaker forums, community projects, fundraising for the HLSA scholarship program, and social gatherings with prominent practicing attorneys and guest speakers. HLSA also aids in the recruitment and orientation of first-year Hispanic students.
