Porter Hedges Expands Finance Practice with New Partner Christine McMillan
Porter Hedges announced today that Christine McMillan has joined the firm as a new partner in the Commercial Lending and Finance practice group.
Christine represents lenders in a variety of transactions from broadly syndicated reserve-based loans to bilateral “bridge to call” credit facilities, letter of credit facilities, first lien/second lien financings, and partner loan programs. She has also represented borrowers on working capital credit facilities and note issuances.
“Christine brings significant experience to our firm across a broad range of sophisticated finance transactions, with particular depth in matters related to the upstream and midstream energy industry. Her background both in-house and in private practice will serve our clients well, and we are thrilled that she has joined our firm,” said Co-Managing Partner Joyce Soliman.
Most recently, Christine was an attorney in the banking and finance group at an AmLaw 25 firm in Houston and a Senior Attorney at Noble Energy prior to that position. Before entering private practice, Christine spent a year clerking for the Honorable Justice Willet when he served on the Texas Supreme Court.
She received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and B.S. from Cornell University.
