Porter Hedges Advises Shamrock Steel in its Acquisition by Triple-S Holdings

Porter Hedges represented Shamrock Steel Sales, Inc. ("Shamrock") of Odessa, TX in its acquisition by Triple-S Steel Holdings (“Triple-S”) of Houston, TX.

 Founded in 1956, Shamrock is the largest general lines steel service center and distributor of structural steel located in the Permian Basin. Shamrock also shears, shapes and rolls steel plate and sheet and does light rebar and structural fabrication.

Triple-S was founded in 1960 and with over 35 locations in the U.S., Canada and Colombia, it ranks among the largest privately-owned steel service centers in the world.   

Statesman Corporate Finance (“Statesman”) served as the exclusive financial advisor to Shamrock in the transaction, which closed on September 3, 2019.
