Weston Kowert represents traditional lenders, private equity debt investment firms, including SBICs, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, and other public and private borrowers in commercial lending, direct lending, and other financial transactions. He has worked in complex acquisitions, leveraged financings, and sustainable finance matters and has experience with syndicated loans, high-yield bond offerings, reserve-based facilities, asset-based facilities, distressed debt, mezzanine facilities, and direct lending.

Weston received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Texas School of Law. While in law school, Weston worked as a research assistant for Professor Jay L. Westbrook and as Dean’s Fellow, and served as the Administrative Editor of the Texas Law Review.
