Jamie Godsey is an experienced litigator and investigations lawyer.  She represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters such as trade secret litigation, contract disputes, employment and energy sector disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and business torts.  Jamie has tried cases to successful verdicts in both state and federal court. 

Jamie also handles internal corporate investigations, white-collar crime investigations, regulatory defense, and litigation related to a wide range of domestic and international matters, including corruption, bribery allegations, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).  

Drawing from her experience, Jamie further counsels clients in proactively managing and mitigating risk.  This includes conducting risk assessments, delivering compliance and anti-corruption training, and crafting policies and procedures that comply with necessary government regulations.

Jamie’s clients are diverse, including public and private corporations, partnerships, small companies, and individuals from a wide array of industries.  Her trial experience includes state and federal court, as well as arbitration proceedings.

Jamie was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Jennifer W. Elrod, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable Judge Roy L. Moore, 245th Family Court for Harris County, Texas.

Prior to and throughout law school, Jamie was a Spanish Teacher for Goose Creek ISD.
